Take advantage of your BILnet online banking service on which you can change the usage limit yourself by selecting the card you’d like to modify.
Please read the BILnet help section, which describes all of the steps to follow.
Please note that, for Visa credit cards, you can opt for a permanent or temporary limit change by specifying an end date.
For debit cards, you can increase the weekly limit to a maximum of EUR 10,000.
These limits are updated instantly.
For credit cards, updates to limits may take a few days, especially if the request is made outside business hours.
If the request is rejected, it may be because:
- your accounts do not have sufficient funds for the limit requested
- there is a discrepancy between the card limit requested and monthly payments into the account
Otherwise, you can send us a secure message through BILnet, mentioning the card you’d like to modify, the type of limit that you wish to modify (withdrawal or payment) and the new limit that you’d like to set.
In both cases, you will be sent a notification through BILnet’s secure messaging service.
