At the end of a given period determined by the account type in question (half-yearly for a personal current account and Cash+ savings account, quarterly for a business current account and annually for a Plus savings account), your Bank calculates transaction balances and the interest on any savings or debt on the account.
This is shown on your account statement. This does not mean your account is being closed.

The statement also shows the deduction of any fees, such as account maintenance fees (see fees in the Tariff Overview). You can view the details of these fees on the supporting statement available with your account statements.
