If you are not yet a client :

Please bring the following documents with you to the appointment:

• A copy of the lease contract (required for the guarantee to be set up)
• Your identity document (identity card, passport)
• A proof of residence
• A proof of professional situation

If you are a client :
You can also make a request by sending us a secure message via our online banking service BILnet. Don't forget to attach a copy of your ID document and your rental agreement to the secure message. The request and the documents will be transferred on to BIL for the implementation of the guarantee.

Remember that for a rental guarantee, the amount of the guarantee is blocked on the tenant’s account and is remunerated at the current rate. It will most likely be blocked for the duration of the lease.

You can either use your own funds for this purpose, or BIL can offer you a first-time installation loan to cover this amount, as we know that it is often difficult to cover the costs of moving into a property and the costs of getting set up.
