BIL Supports the Launch of SPILLY, Luxembourg’s First Indoor Mini‑City for Children

  • 02/02/2026

On 29 January 2026, representatives from BIL attended the opening of SPILLY, the first indoor mini-city for children in Luxembourg.

Designed as an immersive and educational environment, SPILLY offers children the opportunity to explore different professions and everyday life situations through play. Across several themed universes, young visitors can step into the roles of firefighters, doctors, pilots, shop owners or even bankers, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and autonomy from an early age.

BIL is proud to be a sponsor of this innovative project and to be part of the mini-city imagined and developed by its founder Guileine Chaux in Luxembourg. This initiative fully aligns with one of the Bank’s key pillars: education.

The Bank strongly believes that education is a fundamental driver of personal and collective development. By supporting projects like SPILLY, BIL promotes inclusive learning experiences and encourages essential life skills, including financial education, helping future generations build confidence and independence.

Beyond education, supporting SPILLY also reflects BIL’s commitment to supporting the Luxembourg economic ecosystem. By backing local, forward-looking initiatives, the Bank actively contributes to the development of sustainable projects that create value, foster innovation, and strengthen the country’s economic fabric.
