On 26 March 2026, Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL) brought together Independent Financial Advisors, Multi Family Offices and Professional Intermediaries for a dedicated conference focused on expertise, collaboration and the bank’s 170 year heritage. The gathering showcased not only the breadth of BIL’s capabilities, but also how each area of expertise fits seamlessly into one unified approach. The event opened with a welcome address from Claude Eyschen, BIL Chief Wealth Management.
Participants were first taken through an in depth presentation given by Lionel De Broux, Chief Investment Officer, who outlined how BIL continues to position itself as a stable and experienced partner. He also revisited BIL’s investment philosophy, and the broad range of solutions offered through Discretionary Portfolio Management, tailored mandates, Advisory services and investment funds. His intervention illustrated how BIL supports long-term investment strategies in a constantly evolving market environment.
The focus then shifted to structured products, where Vo Van Dung Delobel, Senior Sales Structurer in the CIB Financial Markets team, showcased BIL’s comprehensive capabilities. One of the highlights of his session was the presentation of the Beat the Benchmark AI Autocall, a product combining an AI driven basket, a potential annual coupon of 12% and a 40% capital buffer, demonstrating how BIL blends innovation with thoughtful risk management.
Life insurance then took centre stage as Vivian Gobert, Senior Business Development Manager, and Audrey Lesperoy, Head of Belgium & Wealth Planning, introduced BIL’s partnership ecosystem with Luxembourg’s leading insurers. They detailed how the Bank integrates its investment solutions into insurance structures through internal funds, specialised funds and collective vehicles.
Catherine Bastien, Head of Wealth Management Credit Structuring & Development then highlighted another essential building block: credit. She provided an overview of BIL’s credit solutions, ranging from Lombard loans to domestic and international mortgages and yacht financing. Her session demonstrated how financing can be used strategically — whether leveraging portfolios, acquiring property, or structuring specific projects — and how it complements investment and insurance solutions to form a coherent wealth strategy.
Finally, Frédéric Cassani, BIL Head of Corporate Finance, offered insight into how BIL accompanies entrepreneurs and family offices across all stages of their business life cycle. He discussed BIL’s expertise in Mergers & Acquisition advisory, debt and capital advisory, and structured financing. His intervention highlighted the Bank’s ability to deliver strategic, high impact solutions in private markets.
