BIL Unites for a Collective Impact on International Women’s Day 2026

  • 10/03/2026

For the 2026 edition of International Women’s Day, BIL chose a format centred on collective experience and tangible support through a private screening of La Maison des femmes, bringing together colleagues, collaborators and partners.

A film highlighting an entrepreneurial project with impact

Behind the film lies the story of an initiative driven by a team who chose to act — supporting women facing vulnerable situations with determination, creativity, and purpose.

It is a project that illustrates the very essence of entrepreneurial spirit:

  • identifying a real and urgent need,
  • building a meaningful and sustainable solution,
  • bringing together a collective to amplify and maintain its impact over time.

The event offered a valuable space to exchange on these themes and served as a reminder that when a project is carried by conviction, it truly has the power to change lives.

Our commitment: supporting frontline action in a concrete way

Beyond raising awareness towards an important albeit difficult subject, the Bank provided tangible support for Femmes en Détresse association, our partner for this initiative.

Participants were invited to discover the association and contribute through donations, IT equipment was offered to reinforce the association’s operational capacity and directly support its beneficiaries through training and professional reintegration.

These contributions reflect BIL’s commitment to support organisations that, in their own way, lead meaningful and impactful social initiatives.

A collective dynamic aligned with our values

This initiative fully embodies BIL’s “Building Tomorrow Together” approach: mobilising our resources and talents to support projects that make a concrete difference in people’s lives.

We warmly thank all attendees for their engagement and participation.

Together, let’s keep supporting initiatives that create meaningful and lasting impact.
