The Bank is bound by an obligation of professional secrecy and may not communicate data and information relating to business relations with the client/prospect (the “Information”) to third parties, except with the consent of the latter.
In order to provide quality services and to benefit from the technical resources of qualified specialists, the Bank outsources certain tasks or services to third-party service providers, which may be unregulated and located outside Luxembourg, within or outside the EU (the “Outsourcing”).
For the purposes of this form, when requesting an appointment, an email will be sent to you and to the branch of your choice confirming your request and restating the data provided. This data is sent by email as part of the service provided by Medallia (previously CheckMarket) whose servers are located in Belgium (the “Service Provider”).
The information thus sent in the context of this Outsourcing includes: your personal data, contact data (the “Information”).
The Outsourcing is conducted in accordance with Luxembourg regulatory requirements and the Bank ensures compliance with all its regulatory obligations. The Service Provider is contractually obliged to comply with strict rules of confidentiality. However, you acknowledge and accept that the Service Provider is not subject to the Luxembourg rules of professional secrecy, and that the professional secrecy that could be applicable to it could be less strict than the Luxembourg legislation on professional secrecy.
In certain circumstances, the Service Provider may be legally required to provide the Information to third parties or authorities.

By using this form, BIL processes your personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679. The purpose of the processing is to set up an appointment to open your banking account. The information filled out in this form is processed on the basis of your prior consent. If you refuse to give consent, BIL will not be able to set up an appointment to open your banking account.
When you fill out this form, we process identification data, your contact details, professional data and economic and financial data. The data will be processed by BIL and a provider located in Belgium. Your personal data will be stored for a 90-day period as from the date that you sent the form and will not be transferred outside the European Union.
You have a right to access, erase, rectification, object, to restriction of the processing, a right to data portability and a right to a human intervention. You can also withdraw your consent for this processing activity.
