The use of any form available on the BIL.com website requires the processing of your personal data by BIL, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679. The purpose of the processing is to enable you to contact BIL or submit a request to BIL. This processing is based on your consent. If you refuse to give your consent, BIL will not be able to process this form. However, you can send an email to contact@bil.com or a secure message via the BILnet platform. When you fill in the contact form, we process identification data, your contact details and your status (customer or non-customer), as well as, in some cases, your professional, economic, and financial data. This personal data will be processed by our service provider, Medallia, located in Belgium, in order to forward your request to the appropriate team within BIL. Your personal data will be automatically deleted 90 days after the date on which you sent the form. However, if you wish your personal data to be deleted before the 90-day retention period expires, you can send an email to dpo@bil.com. Your personal data will not be transferred outside the European Union and will not be used for any other processing purposes. You have the right to access, erase, rectify, object to, and restrict the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability and the right to human intervention in the event of automated decision-making. To exercise any of these rights or obtain further information on processing, you can contact the BIL Data Protection Officer at the following email address: dpo@bil.com. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can lodge a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission or the data protection authority of your country of residence.
