How do I activate BILnet Mobile?
- If you are a BILnet customer:
Log on to BILnet online banking from a computer using your LuxTrust Token and activate the BILnet Mobile service in just a few clicks via the Personal Area/Activate BILnet Mobile section.
Once the service has been activated in BILnet, you can immediately connect to the BILnet Mobile application that you will have downloaded to your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch or Android smartphone.
Once BILnet Mobile has been activated, you can also sign up for QuickBanking™ via the Personal Area / QuickBanking™ section.

BILnet Mobile minimum requirements
To access BILnet Mobile services and enjoy the many advantages it has to offer, you must have:
- an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad (running iOS7 or higher)
- or an Android smartphone, version 4.0. or higher. BILnet Mobile content may be displayed differently, according to screen size and browser used.
- access to BILnet internet banking
- a LuxTrust Token

How do I log on to BILnet Mobile?
Once you have activated the BILnet Mobile option via BILnet internet banking and downloaded the app to your mobile device, log on to the mobile app using your LuxTrust Token.
Enter your usual username and password from BILnet and the OTP (One Time Password) generated by your LuxTrust Token.
For fast, Token-free access, you can also use QuickBanking.

You can use BILnet Mobile as the account holder or authorised representative, for both single and joint signature accounts.
Is it possible to use somebody else’s mobile device to consult my accounts?
Yes, you can log on to BILnet Mobile using any device provided that the app has been downloaded, you have activated the service and you have your Token with you. QuickBanking™, on the other hand, is only installed on your own devices and will only appear on somebody else’s device if you have linked it via BILnet.

What should I do if my mobile device is lost or stolen?
As a security measure, the BILnet Mobile session will end automatically after five minutes of inactivity. You can deactivate BILnet Mobile and QuickBanking™ using a computer or by calling our Technical Hotline on +352 4590 4590, Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 20:00.
How can I deactivate the BILnet Mobile service?
Log on to BILnet on a computer using your Token, go to Personal Area/BILnet Mobile and follow the instructions.
What happens if I get a phone call while I am logged on to BILnet Mobile with my Token?
If your call lasts less than five minutes, you can return to what you were doing afterwards. If it lasts longer, the session will be closed automatically, but you can simply log back on.
Will I be charged for using BILnet Mobile?
The BILnet Mobile and QuickBanking™ services are completely free, excluding data costs charged by your mobile provider. Ensure that you are aware what these costs are.

How does the stock market orders option work?
In the Accounts section:
- View the list of investments and the list of transactions for your securities accounts.
- Place stock market orders on existing holdings in the portfolio
The rules, and particularly market rules, that apply to transactions performed using BILnet Mobile are identical to those applied to transactions performed from your computer via BILnet

- Access your order book and view orders currently being executed as well as executed orders.
What is QuickBanking™ ?
QuickBanking lets you access the basic features of BILnet Mobile without having to use your LuxTrust Token.
QuickBanking™ = QuickView™ + QuickTransfer™ + QuickMoney™
QuickBanking includes QuickView as well as both QuickTransfer and QuickMoney.
QuickView allows you to instantly check your balances without displaying any personal information. It cannot be used to perform any transactions. You can view the balances of accounts and bank cards simply by touching an icon in the BILnet Mobile app... without even having to log in. You can also view your QuickView™ transactions using Touch ID (if you have a recent Apple device equipped with Touch ID digital fingerprint technology).
QuickTransfer™ allows you to make small transfers using a PIN – no Token required.

Do I need my Token to use QuickBanking™?
Your Token is not required for using QuickBanking™. You will only need your Token in the following instances:
1) when you activate QuickBanking™ for the first time
2) if you have deactivated the service and wish to reactivate it
3) if you have not used BILnet Mobile for more than 30 days.
How do I activate QuickBanking™?
Do you already use BILnet Mobile?
There is no need to download any additional apps other than BILnet Mobile.
Simply activate and configure QuickBanking™ via the Personal Area / QuickBanking™ menu using BILnet on a computer. Ensure you have the mobile device you wish to use to hand. Use the mobile device to scan the QR code that appears on BILnet at the end of the configuration process.
To use QuickBanking™, you must first download and activate BILnet Mobile.
Can I choose which bank accounts and cards appear in QuickBanking?
Choose the credit cards and accounts (savings and current accounts, etc.) that you would like to consult in QuickView as well as the accounts to be used for your QuickMoney cardless withdrawals and your transfers using QuickTransfer. You may also decide to use QuickView with or without QuickTransfer/QuickMoney for each of your accounts.
What kind of transfers can I perform using QuickTransfer™?
You can make the following transfers (to IBAN format account numbers only):
- between your own accounts.
- to your existing beneficiaries saved in BILnet.
- to new beneficiaries (not yet saved in BILnet).
The PIN you chose in BILnet is required and therefore you do not need your Token.
Can you use somebody else’s phone to consult QuickBanking™?
QuickBanking™ is only installed on your own devices and will only appear on somebody else’s device if you have linked it via BILnet.
Can QuickBanking™ be used on several mobile devices?
You can link QuickBanking™ to one or more mobile devices of your choice. You can choose your options for each mobile device: QuickView™ with or without QuickTransfer™, with or without QuickMoney™.
Can I suspend or stop QuickBanking™?
You can deactivate a specific mobile device or the whole QuickBanking™ service at any time on BILnet. You can also suspend QuickBanking™ at any time directly from your mobile device.
What are the QuickBanking™ transfer and withdrawal limits?
QuickTransfer™. For all transfers other than those between your own accounts, you can either make a single transfer of EUR 300 per day or several small transfers totalling a maximum of EUR 300. For transfers between your own accounts, the limits are the same as those for BILnet. There is no daily limit on transfers between your own accounts.
You can alter this limit at any time by going to the BILnet Personal Area menu.
QuickMoney™. The daily limit on all your cardless cash withdrawals from BIL ATMs is by default EUR 150 per day, and can be used as either several small withdrawals or a single withdrawal of EUR 150.
Is QuickBanking™ secure?
As QuickBanking™ must be activated in advance on your computer using your LuxTrust signature, this function offers guaranteed security.
QuickView™ In just one click and without entering any codes you can consult account and bank card balances in complete confidentiality as no personal data is shown. You can also view your most recent transactions securely by entering your PIN.
For Quick Transfer™ and QuickMoney™, you use a 6 to 8-digit PIN to ensure your transactions are secure. Moreover, you set your maximum transfer and withdrawal limits yourself.
You can suspend Quick Banking™ in just one click using BILnet Mobile or suspend or completely deactivate it using BILnet on a computer at any time.
Entered your PIN incorrectly three times?
Choose a new PIN by logging on to BILnet using your computer and going to the Personal Area / Configure QuickBanking™ section.
Not used BILnet Mobile for a period of more than 30 days?
QuickBanking™ is automatically suspended.
